North Central Massachusetts Gift Card
Due to the current pandemic and to show our deep dedication and support to our local businesses, all fees and start-up costs have been waived. 100% of the proceeds go to support our participating vendors.
The Gift Local Card is the official gift card for North Central Massachusetts. Gift Local cards make wonderful, flexible gifts for birthdays, holidays, giving thanks, employee appreciation and much more! When you give a Gift Local Card as a gift you are not only supporting local small businesses in the community, but you are also giving the recipient the gift of choice. The gift cards are redeemable at a variety of local businesses throughout the community, including restaurants, coffee shops, retail shops, inns, farms, attractions and more.
How it Works
The Gift Local Card enables you to support your local communities and gives the gift recipient the ability to buy locally from independent stores and businesses in North Central Massachusetts. You can purchase a Gift Local Card at the North Central Massachusetts Chamber office in Fitchburg, the Johnny Appleseed Trail Visitor Center on Route 2 in Lancaster, or online at xjm.1ea.myftpupload.com for $1 in any denomination you want. The card can be taken to any of the participating businesses and used to pay for merchandise, meals, services…etc. Because the Gift Local Card cannot be spent outside of North Central Massachusetts, it keeps more dollars circulating in the region and helps support small businesses and our local communities.
- For every $100 spent at a locally owned business, $48 stays in our cities and towns.
- Compared to only $14 of $100 that is spent at a non-locally owned chain store.
- And $0 of $100 that is spent at large e-commerce retailers.*
